”In 2018, I wrote a sweet little children’s book \u201dIf You Give A Squirrel an Acorn” and for these last couple of weeks of November I am featuring this book.<\/em><\/p>\n

If you know me then you know my love for God’s Creation has helped me to thrive both spiritually and creatively. This little book was written with BIG intentions, so tiny hearts could learn more about JESUS and how all of God\u2019s Creation never fails to inspire us humans, as HE works in beautiful ways. So, it goes without saying that this book is NOT just for children but for adults as well. If You Give A Squirrel an Acorn<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24 <\/em><\/p>\n

All the seasons God has created holds a time of wonder, and the Season of Autumn does not disappoint when the leaves and their changing colors begin to slowly fall to the ground \u2013 as <\/span>we\u00a0are fascinated\u00a0to watch,\u00a0the squirrels\u00a0scamper about\u00a0busily preparing\u00a0for harvest.\u202f\u00a0These furry and quirky friends\u00a0often follow a fun but assigned task\u00a0by giving us free admission,\u00a0to watch\u00a0them hurry and scurry up and down the tallest trees\u00a0from sunrise\u00a0til sunset.\u202f<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to the squirrels, there is another pretty interesting part of God’s Creation present too, the acorns. Acorns, though small in size are everywhere! Yet, almost like clock work, the squirrels gather them for food for the winter as they stuff them in their mouth looking like their cheeks will explode. Except for the acorns that God mysteriously holds back \u2013 so these can one day, grow into tall oak trees after many years.<\/span><\/p>\n

If we take note of reminders like these, we will see the vast splendor of God’s Creation all around us. Yet, while much of what has been created, provides endless beauty and sometimes even entertainment; everything HE has spoken into existence carries a message from Him. One central message is found not only in the four seasons of the year but also within the of seasons of our lifetime. A message, which often compels us to learn more about the Creator and trust not in what we see but also in what we don\u2019t see about who HE is.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Such glorious, and wonderful spectacles perfectly unfold in creation, as they accessorize each element in such intricate detail \u2013 seeming to beckon us closer to enjoy HIS Presence\u2026 This is Worship and so we are led to discover even more within the beautiful and elegant pages throughout God\u2019s Word \u2013 which is truly awe-inspiring. For as we read passages from both the Old Testament and the New Testament, our souls are softly but intentionally brushed by glimpses of eternity which leave us breathless. Suddenly, the moments of a relaxing Autumn day slows us down to be completely transfixed in our heart, on JESUS \u2013 the ONLY ONE who is Worthy to be Honored, Praised and Worshipped! This is time well spent; as our faith and purpose is rekindled, we can reach and invite our family and friends, to know JESUS!\u202fHere is what happens next: the invitation we gave is carried to them as they start feeling a gentle tugging from the Holy Spirit of God. Next, God\u2019s Love for them is revealed even more as HE pleads for them to turn away from all that is wicked, wrong, and sinful in their life and ask God to forgive them and save them.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once\u00a0they\u00a0give\u00a0their\u00a0heart to\u00a0JESUS,\u00a0He becomes their\u00a0Timeless\u00a0Savior and Creator\u00a0\u2013 making all things new! This\u00a0process of re-creating\u00a0their\u00a0heart\u00a0might take a lifetime\u00a0but because JESUS\u00a0has safely tucked their heart\u00a0inside\u00a0the\u00a0very\u00a0Heart\u00a0of\u00a0GOD\u00a0\u2013\u00a0it is SEALED FOREVER\u00a0by the Holy Spirit\u00a0as a Heavenly\u00a0Keepsake!\u202f<\/span><\/p>\n

My Sweet Friend,\u00a0how about YOU?\u00a0Do you KNOW the Creator\u00a0God\u00a0and Savior\u00a0who\u00a0gave\u00a0up\u00a0HIS own\u00a0life,\u00a0to save YOURS\u00a0because HE\u00a0Loves YOU\u00a0and\u00a0HIS\u00a0Love for YOU\u00a0is\u00a0Everlasting!<\/strong><\/p>\n

John 3:16 says it like this ~ For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.<\/em><\/p>\n

SO WILL YOU ACCEPT JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ephesians 2:8-10 reminds us that ~ For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith- and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.<\/em><\/p>\n

Because\u2026 IF YOU GIVE YOUR HEART to JESUS…<\/strong><\/p>\n

Romans 10:13 says ~ For everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved.<\/em><\/p>\n

And YOU CAN KNOW HE HAS SAVED YOU\u2026\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I John 5:11-13 says that ~ This is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. That You May Know I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.<\/em><\/p>\n

Psalm 118:24 <\/em>\r\n\r\nIt is out of all the seasons God has created it is the time of Autumn when such beautiful colors in leaves begin to fall as small creatures busily prepare for harvest. Squirrels are especially very fascinating watching them hurry and scurry up and down the tallest tree. These funny and quirky furry friends seem to almost always get along with everyone including various birds of every kind \u2013 while at the same time focusing on their daily assigned tasks until sunset.\r\n\r\nIn addition to the squirrels, the acorns are a pretty interesting part of God's Creation too, because of there small size, yet their potential growth turning into an oak tree after many years.\r\n\r\nThese reminders of God's Creation are all around us and while much of what He gave us provides endless beauty and sometimes also entertainment; everything HE has created carries a message from Him. In fact, not only is there a wonderful spectacle perfectly unfolding and accessorizing each element pulling us closer to enjoy HIS Creation\u2026 We are given beautiful moments in detail all through the pages of HIS WORD. So often, these glimpses of eternity leave us breathless, as we fix our eyes and heart on HIM. Any time worshipping God is a time well spent as it also helps preserve our earthly time spent, with our very own family and friends.\u202fSoon a Holy tugging ever so gently, reveals to our heart His Love for us and how HE desires to tuck us inside the tender Heart GOD, as HIS very own Keepsake!\r\n\r\nMy Sweet Friend, do you KNOW this Creator, Sustainer, and Savior? Do you KNOW JESUS, God\u2019s Son, Loves YOU? It is a LOVE for YOU, that is bigger and stronger unlike anything HE has created, and similar to the way an acorn from an oak tree, grows\u2026 When you will place your faith in JESUS, HE will grow the tiny faith from your heart to much, much MORE because His Love for YOU is everlasting!\r\n\r\nJohn 3:16 says it like this ~ For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
