Embracing Legacy<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Christ\u2019s Legacy ~\u00a0Christ\u2019s Encouragement and Christ\u2019s Mission<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This memoriam is about remembering three godly women who are responsible for inspiring encouragement and ultimately led to the existence of April Sky Ministries.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Sarah Angeline Bunton<\/span> was the Great Grandmother to Jodie. She became a believer as an adult and immediately began to pass on the beautiful Words of Life, of Jesus.\u00a0 She then passed the Legacy of <\/strong><\/span>Christ down to her children, one of those being Vera Martinec<\/span>. Vera was Jodie\u2019s Great Aunt and one of Sarah\u2019s oldest daughters. Vera was always known for her kindness and sweet hospitality. She would often offer a snack, candy, or conversation to anyone who stopped by her house. She displayed encouragement in the smallest of ways, but with a BIG heart.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Last but not least, Sarah also made sure to pass on the Legacy to her youngest daughter Edna Ormsby<\/span>. Edna ran with the Holy Baton, like no other. She was Jodie\u2019s maternal Grandmother. She took the time to disciple Jodie. Edna was also the biggest fan of Jodie\u2019s writings – even way before she was ever published.\u00a0 Edna never shied away from sharing the Gospel with anyone who God placed in her path, whether that was at a grocery store or sitting quietly on her couch at home. She also showed an amazing love and hope for the Jewish people and their culture. Now, after many years she passed this same baton and Legacy of Christ, onto her children.
<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Each of these women were extremely influential and inspired Jodie Mitchell and the existence of <\/strong><\/span>April Sky Ministries today.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We\u00a0are honoring their memory by encouraging others to carry on this same Legacy.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It is our prayer that as you grieve your own loved ones that you are encouraged in a beautiful way.\u00a0 So that you will be inspired to live your life in such a way, that it leaves behind the only kind of Legacy which truly lasts as it reaches others for Jesus.<\/span><\/strong><\/o:p><\/p>\n
