Suffering

One thing that God’s Word is clear on, about this life, is you will have trials, testing and tribulations. Suffering is not only expected but it is also necessary to become more like Jesus.

What WILL NOT be in Heaven:

SUFFERING: Part 3

~ NO Darkness:  Darkness has many faces as it lurks in our streets, towns, and homes. It carries a subtle disturbance that at times, will only be sensed by a child or even a pet. It’s disguise can “appear like light”, when in fact there is no light at all. Fooling the wisest, tripping up the strongest and always capturing the weakest. Darkness is Satan’s playground, where only he knows how to ambush YOU once he has enticed you to leave your lighted path. One day even Night itself, along with Darkness will be forever dispelled by God and there will NOT be Darkness in Heaven.

~ NO FEAR:  Perfect Love casts out Fear. This is “Key” because LOVE is GOD. Fear can pull YOU into worrying about every situation, struggle and difficult circumstance, until you start to believe you have lost control – or worse, that God has lost control. YOUR Fear will try to lure you away from God as you, almost unknowingly, fall prey to Satan’s paralyzing traps and schemes.  Give your worries, concerns, fears, struggles to the HOLY One who is STILL ON HIS THRONE. Let Jesus reign in your heart and rest easy, because FEAR will NOT be in Heaven.

~ NO SUFFERING:  Suffering is not something that is out of reach to God. His Plan for Creation initially never wanted this to be a reality for life at all. Your suffering is felt because of a broken, imperfect and fallen world which of course goes back to SIN. Suffering is part of the package on earth because of its consequence. While suffering has many layers, the expressions of suffering are always seen in troubling struggles. Salty tears stain your face, in suffering. Even those times when you are turned towards Heaven in prayer. Suffering is bitter, numbing and surreal because of illness, dying, death and grief. Yet, Jesus is YOUR Suffering Savior, so He is capable of providing YOU with the kind of Comfort you need in moments such as these.  Let Him Comfort YOU now, and embrace His Healing even through your tears and pain because there will NOT be any SUFFERING in Heaven.
