Folded Hands

For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them. Matthew 18:20

We are taught at an early age how to connect our fingers together, and clasp our tiny hands for prayer. Such a small act of simplicity can serve as a example all through our adult life. We establish the habit to express our gratitude, our worship, and our requests to God.

Yet, when we get older, life becomes much harder. It is then that our hands take on a different position. Instead of prayer, our hands display all the despair and worry we feel due to life’s unexpected turns. Suddenly, we find ourselves folding our hands in prayer, not in faith, but rather, wringing them in hopelessness.

Guess what? Both types of prayer are heard by a Loving God who cares about the good times in our life, as well as the bad.  He wants to hear it all!  So you see, our prayers are very important – not because we pray, but because HE “hears” our prayers!

This Escape is here because prayer life is essential in helping you Embrace the things of God and of His Son, Jesus – so that you find your Calm.

The fact is, we have the privilege of being heard by the One who created everything. How cool is that!

God is both Omniscient and Omnipotent, meaning He is ALL Knowing and ALL Powerful!  This is KEY because He not only hears and answers your prayers, but He also knows you inside out and has the Power to help you in your time of need. So you can also be assured that He does answer your prayers – maybe not in the way you would expect or even want, and His Timing might not be according to your time table – but He does so, according to His Perfect Will and in His Timing.

Listen my friend, we at April Sky are strong prayer warriors and we take prayer very seriously.
